Luna's Piano Moving & Storage - West Coast

Welcome to our Long Distance Piano Moving page

Most piano movers do not travel long distance. Piano moving is more of a local type of service. So how are pianos transported long distance? Most of the time a household moving company will move your piano. However, there is high risk in doing it this way. A piano must be moved using the right equipment and it must also be handled by piano movers. The risk of damage is high when handled by generic household movers. In addition, if you are moving your piano in a truck that's packed with boxes, couches and miscellaneous items, the risk of damage gets higher. Keep in mind that long distance means more time on the road, more time on the road means more road bumps, more road bumps means more items potentially falling on your piano or bumping against it.

Piano movers do not have this issue. We do not stack high since we only move pianos. Therefore nothing can fall on or bump against your piano.

How does scheduling work?

Due to the nature of our business, you might be put on a 1-30day hold. This is for both pick up and drop off. We line up piano pick up/drop offs to fit our route.

Can you pick up sooner than 30 days? Sometimes yes. We also provide same day service if your piano move meets our route which happens quite frequently. The best thing to do is to give us a call or fill out our quote form. We respond to quote forms within the hour. Someone is always monitoring incoming quotes to rest assured that your request will be answered as soon as possible.
